Outreach Programs

Many of our brands and our employees participate in outreach activities on their own during the year. We like to highlight their efforts in the community when we can.

Oroweat Helps the American Red Cross and Families in Arizona

Oroweat donated $9,820 to the Arizona Red Cross Fire Relief Fund on September 16. Working with Safeway grocery stores, Oroweat donated $.10 for each loaf of bread sold during the month of July. During the summer, the American Red Cross provided food, shelter and necessities to those who were displaced by the Arizona wildfires, the worst fires in Arizona’s history. Oroweat’s donation helped the American Red Cross to continue to provide disaster relief and to assist families that lose their homes to fires.
